Victorian Excel Get together 27 th Sept

On Saturday 27 th September Vic HPF Rallydrive Excelrally competitors are getting together to rebuild a service trailer for use by all Excel competitors, this will make service at Rallies a lot easier for people new to the sport that don't have a large support crew.

This day would be a good opportunity for newby's to come along and meet the Excelrally guys and girls and look over a couple of cars.

All welcome from 10.00 am 1530 Princes Highway Nar Nar goon 3812 (opposite Dore Rd) 45 minutes on the Princes Freeway from the MCG

Just like to say a big thank you to JohnC :clap: for organising the day and providing us with all the facilities, equipment and tools we could possibly require! I’m sure Hyundai Motor Company started off with access to less equipment than John had scattered around his sheds; presses, folders, guillotines (not the one that steers an Excel), welders, hoists; the list was endless, we even had access to fresh milk; (we just had to catch the cows first)

I don’t think John really sat down all day and spent most of it answering questions and finding equipment to keep us busy all day, (seen as a blurr on the left in the above photo). On top of this he was up at the crack of dawn picking up steel for the trailer, thanks again John, greatly appreciated!

Well done to all concerned, (about 15 or 16 of us in total I think):grouphug:

Righto This weeks night for the trailer rebuild is Tuesday from say 7.00 p.m, or I will have the urn on from 6.30 if anyone wants to have a cuppa with their pizza, hamburger or whatever.



We will decide tomorrow night which night in the following week suits



Confirmed for this week are Karina , Ernie , Peter Morrison and JC
