I know we have spoken about this in depth before, but the Sunday before Jimna should be a test and tune day at Willowbank autocross.
My car really needs some sorting, so I'll be there. If anyone else feels the need for speed !

Mt Buller sprints in Victoria for me that week end (WoooooHoooo) which is a shame; the Hurstglen weekend sounds like a good weekend, but Mt Buller is my favorite rally of the year and I can't wait for it.

Has the dirt track out the back of QR opened yet for testing ?

Hi all

Well, we have finally been given a permit to run an event at Hirstglen on 1st & 2nd November.

Attached, please find the Regs & Entry form for this event. You can e-mail your entry form back to me, or fax to Nic Kilah as per the details on the entry form, or post or just phone & let us know you are coming. But we do need to know of your intention to attend, to ensure it is worthwhile going ahead with.

Hope as many as possible can attend this event (the only competitive one for 2008) and then we can have a good rollup in 2009.

Regards

I would be very interested, but 2 days to do 30 kms?
Does that mean camping, Arghhh !!! Funny how some people love that.
I need all the practice I can get, but I might need to think about it.

Kelvin,

from chatting to Jamie Lawson I think you can just turn up for one day if you like. Saturday is a practice day and Sunday the competition (which is the 30km in the regs). But best contact one of the comitee and check for sure.

Cheers Tanz.

I'll probably do Hirstglen, if I can get the car back together in time. I must stop breaking it though.
I have a question for those who have been before. Rodney wants to have a drive, which is fine. I think. So before I say, yes, is there anything to hit if he runs off the road? Or is it like Willowbank?

there r no trees and since they redesigned the lower section you cant end up in the dam if you get it wrong ha ha. mind u the long straight has seen a roll over or to, if u get off the track at 140 and u sideways u gonna go ova
