Thanks Kelvin, appreciated, and really interesting to do a line graph in a different color for each Excel competitor!
Not hard to see which stage we spun on... :(
Also how's about the battle group on SS3!!! Myself (P2), Kilbride (P2), Casper (P2) and Lawrence (Lantra) all did a 5:40!!! :grouphug:
Was also awesome to see first time exceler (not including 1 stage at Yaraman!) Ed throw down some decent times after his initiation in a Gemini last year!
Bring on Gallongowan!

How about like this
Graph 2.jpg
You can learn a lot from graphs like this.
Look at the way, on some stages, the majority of Excels go up placings or go go down placings in unison. Probably loosing placings on power stages or gaining on flowing stages.
It also breeds that spirit of competion. "If only I'd tried a liitle harder on that stage".
Should be great competition next year.

Hi everyone
Just to take Kelvin's idea one stage further (Pun Intended), I have loaded the Excel times for each stage into an Excel spreadsheet (Yes I know) and chart the results. Hopefully I have transcribed the times correctly and my apologies if I have made a mistake.

I've added an "Excels only" page to qld rally results, with more statistical analysis of stage times. (I think I'm becoming a computer nerd). I thought of giving each driver a "performance index" for each event, based on secs/km behind best Excel. That way you can compare your performance rally to rally, and see if an improvement is evident. Well there's nothing worth watching on TV !!!!! Thoughts?
