I see we have a full compliment of Excel's for Gallangowan. I love it. I'm trying to catch Luke. Luke's trying to catch Greg. Everyone has something to aim for, and several months to fix the battle damage. Go for it !!

I'll be up there, with Dad, doing our usual thing.
If we can't run then it's of to help out and do a road block.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all up there.
Is anybody going up for the Legends Dinner on Friday night?
I'm trying to get tickets but they might be sold out.
There is already 150 people going, I'm told.
But if you want to go try ringing Sheridan on 0423 683 110.
They are trying to get the caterers to extend there numbers.
Sounds like it's going to be a big night and a good way to finish the year.:grouphug:

Been on the red again Nathan:lmao:

Nah I am chuffed with the seeding list, Taxi and I are right where we should be. (well Terry should be higher but you get that)

"here comes beetlebomb" or tweetle bomb in this case.

Plus from memory the starting order is as per below

Competing crews will be allocated a number for Prologue use only.
This will be prefixedby the letter “P” and must be placed on the left hand side of the vehicle. Crews will berequired to supply tape to affix this number to the competing vehicle.

This decalis to be removed when re-seeding numbers are provided.

The prologue starting order will be determined with the Guide of the Qld Seeding list.. The Event Organising Committee may alter the seeding at their discretion.

Crews unable to finish the prologue stage but are able to start the Event will be allocated seeding at the discretion of the Event Organising Committee.

Crews will be allowed to service after Prologue and will then be required to enter the marshalling area which will be a non service area. Event Door numbers will be distributed at the marshalling Main Control area.

It is the responsibility of Crews to ensure that they check their Event Start times

One day I might read a set of Sup. Regs. Did it say if the prologue time counts towards overall results. No point driving in "Playstation Mode", if it doesn't count.

Latho

No, prologue is just that... prologue. Used only to determine starting order, and not towards overall results.

Justin, you missed out cars 26-45 on your entry list. They are on page 2 of the BSCC entry list
I don't understand how cars 1 - 45 are seeded seperately, then cars 46-61are seeded and added on to the end. I can understand that for QRC/Clubman, but how does it apply here.
Next year I must enter the QRC, just to get higher up the list.

fixed

Kelvin I think it had something do do with what series you are registered for ie PRRS, Clubman, Excels.

Look on the bright side we will get to see all the spectacular cars and have plenty of time to get to the start line.

Yeah but how much beer will be left at 4am when we've finally finished....that's all I'm concerned about

kelvin
01-12-2008, 07:44 PM
I really don't think it should matter what series I am or am not registered for. I paid the same entry fee as everybody else, therefore should not be treated as an "also ran".
But what you say is true. All the tricky corners have crashed cars parked on them with people slowing you down.

There should be heaps of our beer left Gideon because it will take us a long time to drink all of Tanz's.

Go team Nasty:lmao:

They group all the clubmen together so that everybody has roughly the same road conditions, therefore making it a roughly level playing field.

Do you really think that your seeding would be much different from where you are now, if it was one big field?

Trust me, playing up the field isn't much fun. I'll do you a swap the next rally I do if you like. Being down the back is fun. The other way to get up the field is to drive faster, but that takes a rally or two to come through on the seeding list.

I really can't see them ever giving the clubmen first on the road, either. Particualrly with JS first on the road. It wouldn't just be Justin looking in the rear view, but Steve, Gideon and Ed as well!

Team Nasty doesn't stand a chance! Seeing as I have a Real Works Drive (read RWD) to get up hills (a skill most Qld Excel punters haven't yet mastered), am seeded in the 1st 1/2 the field (not being registered for or care for any series or Championship) and just a plain low down pig when it comes to drinking I reckon I'll be wasted by Sunday morning when you lot finally appear at the bar!

Keep up the banter, but we all know it means nothing until someone's doing the nudie streak!:grouphug:

Kelvin,

I personally don't agree with a separation of the field be it at Club, multi club or State Championship events, but sometimes event organisers have to succombe to the stupid CAMS enforced rule that may not allow the integration of a series event with the multi-club part of the same event and this may well be what the organisers have done in this instance. Trust me, as an event organiser, it is much easier not to try and have two seeding lists for the same event due to some rediculous rule structure.

And, I must admit to agreeing with Dwarf, I feel much happier being further down the field! Up front they tend to chase that illusionary sheepfarm and the friendly atmosphere disappears, and unless the roads chosen are absolute crap they hold up pretty good. Plus the lower seeded you are, the more stage times you can compare!

Ooh Justintime, you've got Steve in his Cleo Sport behind you (which probably has almost exactly twice the power that you have), are you packin it yet?

If you hadn't realised that fact yet, then I'm glad I could be of assistance and point it out for you. :lmao:

Guys, I will be hanging around up there and should be pretty sober up until around lunch time, so if anyone needs a hand just give me a yell
