Khanacross @ Bendigo

Just a note to let you all know that there will be a Khanacross and motorkhana being held at Bagshot near Bendigo on this Sunday the 7th of Dec. Competition starts at 10am and entries taken on the day. $30 for Khanacross and $15 for the motorkhana or $40 if you decide to do both.

At this stage at least 3 Excels should be in attendance but hopefully 4 or 5 if all the planets align. :grouphug:

I will post the supp regs up here when they are released but if anyone is interested to compete or come along and find out more about the Excels please feel free to contact me.

Just for those interested:

The attached Supp Regs (Supplementary Regulations) can be printed out and filled in or just turn up on the day and we will have copies you can fill in. To be part of the competition your entries need to be in before 9:30 and car scrutineered, but if you turn up late we can still get you out there. If you are a member of another club you will need to purchase a day licence ($10) or join the club till 30th June @ $50.

If you are new and interested in the Excel series please come along and talk to us and ask lots of questions; we are a fairly friendly bunch.

We had four Excel drivers turn up on the day, with Lana, a total newby to competition, growing in confidence during the day and posting some good times. So welcome to the fold Lana!

We have a Khanacross scheduled for Sunday the 8th March. If you would like to enter you will need to join the club, $20 to sign up till June 30, plus $30 entry. We should also be running a motorkhana which will cost an extra $10 but you can’t use rally tyres in the motorkhana. (Supplementary regulations attached)

I have been intending to organise some sort of drive day but unfortunately we have had to cancel one event already due to lack of rain, the track is currently, dust, big holes and ruts. We have a working bee this Sunday and have purchased in some water to put into the track, so we are hoping to have it in good condition for the Khanacross on the 8th. After that I will be able to make a judgement on whether it is good enough to run a drive day on so we will have to wait and see.

Thanks Tony I'll get an entry off in Mondays mail. As the old navigator I'll try and get my young driver Chris to enter as well in MY excel. Special note 11{7] is rather interesting. Thanks for the info and we'll meet on the 8th
