Race Brakes offer some great pricing on lots of goodies for excel series cars, not only brakes and clutches.

Give Matt a call even if you are from interstate. I'm sure they will be glad to help out.

Matt I think the reason I went off was the increased brake efficiency!! Only joking the brake pads were great I am really pleased with them thanks again for the speedy service. P.S definetely wasn't the pads as I haven't fitted Daniels yet

I can say that I've put the Race Brakes-supplied SBS pads to the full test now and they are the ducks guts!

At the end of the last stage of Bega on the weekend, the controllies were adamant that we had the brightest glowing discs of any car that had finished to that point (we were car 43).....and the SBS pads and PBR BF 600 fluid were still working consistently! I couldn't imagine any better performance than that.

So you'll be ordering a new set of discs for the next rally then??:naughty:

I can vouch for that! ;) Of all the cars that came through, four stood out... Justin Dowel, The winner in the 9, and the two factory excels! :hyper:

Matt

You guys had a list of bits and pieces that you were refining for the series. Do you have a copy at this stage you can paste on here for all to see or if it is for excel competitors only you can put it in the competitors only forum.

I will find that list and update it for everyone.

I've gotta say I'm a bit disappointed :slap:that we only got 20 odd rallies and about 4 drive days and a few test days out of the clutch in the Excel:wiggle:

No only kidding Matt:clap:

I would have to say that's pretty good, bloody great really. How good is this stuff!!!

Also putting a set of new pads in too, must be giving them a bit harder time now as they were replaced when Ed drove it and the the first set we put in lasted about 15 events.

Thanks Matt for your help and quick service

Yeah i am not happy with that as well because it works out i am not making any money out of those clutches so we devised a new clutch set up which will need replacing twice a season now.:hyper:
Your parts are here and ready thanks mate :)
