Harv an I are just driving back from Imbul to Brissy after a full day of playing on some muddy roads, Its looking a bit scarey

We didin't get 2 runs through all the stages because everyone was getting stuck in the mud. we missed the 2nd runs through the reverse stages and the 8k stage-we lost at least 1 hour so we would have been OK.

The roads look fast I don't think the Excel's gunna have the grunt to see us anywhere near the other p2 cars or the J2 behind us.

Bit broken ATM, 4am get up yesterday and 4.30am today and both days we were in the car until 7pm.

Didn't see any of the Qld boys today, so hopful of a catch up tomorrow.

My Sante fe is marginally cleaner then the one I had at coffs.

Just got off the phone from doing my check-up on everyone.

Al and Steph managed to get around the course fine in Hannibal Passed a Ford Territory that chickened out on one of the uphill sections in the mud!:clap: They only did one run as they intend to run on the roadbook, so all's well for the cars 1st outing on gravel (except we may have the sump guard a little low, speed and rally tyres will tell). Al reports his favourite part of Kandanga has been cut out.
Justin's home and washed 50kg of red mud out from under the car, pretty tired but you'd expect that from someone who only works 2 hours at a time!:potstir:

Apparently the entry into the speccie point was the main point where one and almost all got stuck, so could be interesting if the weather forcast is correct and some more rain comes in over the next couple of days.

if the rain persists, fear not as Team Nasty hill advisor, I have a plan for such an outcome! See Adrian in the Lantra and ask him for some of the chains to fit to your drive wheels I have organised for use like if you were in the snow!!!

If you don't believe me, go ask him if he brought the chains Tanz asked for. :)

Mick, don't worry too much as the quicker stuff is mainly just long straights, otherwise it flows well and you can carry good speed through most of the other stuff that looks quick.
