In a strong display of driving in the muddy conditions, CAMS Young Rally Driver Development participant, Paul Batten has driven the Kangan Batman TAFE, Excel to victory in Round 1 of the Victorian Excel Series. In a last minute decision Paul and the TAFE team burned the midnight oil in order to get the car to the event.
Second was another young star of the future, Emma Cugley in the pink machine and third was the old war horse John Ernst in an event of high attrition.
