Hi the names Jon
I'm a disabled(arthritis in knees, hands & lower back) 26yr old
living in Newcastle area NSW

just joined up & been looking @ & drooling over some of the rally cars on here
I've got a back ground in 4wdriving(last 7yrs)
& decided I wanna get into rally driving
been looking on-line for a cheap project car
but aint got a clue what would make a gr8 first timers rally car
any sugestions welcome(must be an automatic due to disability)
I'm not rich so only working with a stingie $1000-$2000 @ absolute max for purchase & rego

if your are looking for a cheap car to get in to the rally scene, for my money you could not go past a excel. They are cheap and form all reports they don't break. (I let you know if that is the case when I start running mine)

I picked up mine on Ebay for $650 with 3 months rego. I have just started to pull it apart, getting it ready for the cage.

I am also in the Newcastle area, so I might see you around.

I love my Hyundais so yeah If I can find a good example w/ an auto box
for around the $600-$1000 mark then I'll be cookin' :potstir: up a beast of a rally car.
I'm not one to do things by half
you may have seen my mega lifted Hyundai 4wd running around the place some where(only one in the Newcastle area)

(was driving my mother in laws applause the other day behind my wife in our Terracan & all I was thinking was $h1t our 4wd is huge, the bottom of the rear bumper was @ dash level on the lil applause & I could pretty much see right under it :lmao: )
