Hi all

2nd post:D

Couple of Q's

Re roll cage fitment. Has anyone using a bolt in cage tagged it to the A pillars or any other areas?

Does the weld in make much difference in shell rigidity?

Cheers

Hi Dazzler,
a weld in cage will add to the rigidity of the car, however a bolt in offers transferability.
My car has a bolt in and it has done about twenty rallies with no cracks appearing. My cage is attached to the B pillar using the top seat belt mount.
Excels are inherantly pretty strong as the the front strut towers are boxed into the firewall.

The Cullens Excel also has a Bolt in cage form Bond roll bars. Not sure of the price
