Damn shame you can't be there Rob...

I've been to the last two Gallangowan events and they are the ones I remember most fondly (the first of the two being the first rally Jason actually finished!:potstir:).

...begins to wax lyrical....

..it must be the setting of the Service Park nestled on the oval lying between stands of majestic forest...the sound and sight of rally cars as they rush headlong down the tracks adjacent to the oval...and the laid back atmosphere you get when like minded individuals get together to celebrate the culmination of a year of great sporting endeavours...:grouphug:

Must go...beginnning to tear up! :o

THANKS VERY MUCH DIRK. You are not helping :mad:

My only goal this year was to do Yarraman (which I'm glad I did) and Gallangowan (as my last rally before Yarraman was Gallangown 2006) but life had other plans which I didn't know about :(.

Look's like there is such a thing as Karma...after I annoyed Rob regarding Gallangowan (see above), Jas found out that the van Alphabet is listed in Queensland Transport's records as written-off ??????????:wtf:

It appears that somebody's has made a mistake somewhere along the line...it's going to be a bugger to sort out and apparently will take longer than the time we've got to get to Gallangowan... Jas is trying to resolve what is going on. Hopefully it is only an administrative error...:headbang:

Pain in the A$$$$$!!!!:splat::splat:

Highlighted in red, did Elmo make you do it?

I see our series leader has again been seeded poorly, or has he an inside connection so that he may keep an eye on times?! :wave:

In the drivers title, Ed needs to finish to secure the 2009 crown but will he get tied up in a race for the event result? (bit worried when he's talking an oil change and tyres!), Al should leapfrog Justin for 2nd (now that the cam timing's correct!:slap:) as long as he finishes. And a pat on the back for Dwarf, even if it is the last round, he's registered so that ALL the Excels entered in the event are registered competitors!:clap:

In the Co-Drivers title chase we have Rod in the lead like a sitting duck, as a 1st or 2nd place by Joe will give him the 2009 co-drivers trophy! A last event win could give Teresa a tie for 2nd place in the series.

Will Ed and Joe think too much and falter at the post? Can Al con the scrutineers into deeming Ed's car ineligble? Can Dwarf beat all odds and put his Co-Driver on the podium?

No Matter the result, beer will be consumed and we shall have two 2009 champions!

Cheers Tanz.
