2010 Victorian Hyundai Excel Rally Series
All rounds of the 2010 Victorian Hyundai Excel Rally Series will be run as Victorian Rally Championship (VRC) events.
VRC Events are usually “Blind rallies” so navigators will receive a road book with all instructions for stages and the key dangers highlighted.
Most VRC stages are held during daylight hours but some do have a night component. All stages are on roads closed to the public.
The 2010 VRC events and Victorian Excel Series Events are as follows.
Sat 15 May – East Gippsland Stages - Bairnsdale
Sun 13 June – Bega – (Run out of Eden )
Sat 17 July - George Derrick - Avoca
Sat & Sun 16 & 17 Oct – Akademos - Yea
Sat 13 Nov - Rally Victoria
Entry fees for VRC events are typically around $500

Queensberry Hotel Melbourne some time in Feb and November (Check the website!)
Excelrally Training Days
August 15 th at Bendigo Tony Moore will be the Chief Instructor!!
The following Rally's / Trials are suggested as ideal for practice but are not part of
the Hyundai series
Sat Feb 20th - The Lion Introductory Trial - Neerim
Sat April 17th - Bonnie Doon Stages - Bonnie Doon
Sat July 24th - Baden Powell Introductory Trial
Other events that are good training/practice are the Victorian Club Autocross Series (VCAS).
VCAS events are usually run on a track 1 to 2km long and competitors 3 fastest times are aggregated for the results.
