I am trying to drum up some entries for this event, we are entered, but more would be good

Winton Motor Raceway will host the revamped "24 Hour".

The Winton 24 Hour will run over Easter 2010. It will be regualrity relay.

Teams will consist of 10 driver and 10 cars - maximum

The National 3 kilometre track will be used.

Practice/qulaifying Friday - 1.00 pm Start Saturday, finish 1.00 pm Sunday.

A team entry fee of $2500 per team is the charge.

Supplementary Regulations are on the Winton Website (http://www.wintonmotorraceway.com.au/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=195&Itemid=84).

Get excited, Get a together and enter, this is a Team Event.

You do not need a National Race Licence, this is NOT a race, it is a regualrity relay.

You can enter a standard production car, you just need a AASA Club Licence ($50 from Winton or AASA) or a L2S Licence ($90 from CAMS)

We need more entries for the 24 Hour at Easter, even individual entries, not necessarily team entries.

If it doesn't get off the ground this year it will be lost forever, local bylaws!

The last time it was run was back in 1993.

Unfortunately the 24 Hour event at Winton over Easter 2010 has been cancelled due to a lack of entries, there was not enough to warrant running the event.

We are extremely dissapointed, however it was a decision that has to be expected sometimes.

It may be resurrected next year, my personal opinion is that the 12 Hour at Bathurst impacted on entries, but stuff like that happens.
