Just received an email from Dersterman.
It was relating to scanning my PC for potential viruses.
Be warned it may be SPAM so delete it :wtf:

Me too it is potentially harmful if you open it looks like a trojan.
As I won't be rallying for a while I think I might leave the forum, have to much stuff on the computer to risk an attack. Seems to happen regularly here I'm on losts of forums never had a problem don't know if it is the software or what.
Anyone else gets PM'd best thing you can do is delete it don't follow links or open it. I full AGV kit and it detected a problem as my PM's go to my email.
By for now

It's getting a little out of hand.
I'm sure on another forum (may have even been BMSC it was so long ago that I joined), that you couldn't post or send PM's until you had written an intro for yourself and then been approved by the mods.
Maybe something to consider here?

I have temporarily disabled the PM system.
Thanks for your patience while we deal with these dickheads.

Gday Whitey,
Seems to be the season for it. I'm a mod on another board, and the amount of spam traffic we normally stop is huge, but over the last couple of weeks has bordered on biblical.
I feel your pain. :grouphug:
Cheers

on the hyper forum, every new account need to be approved by an admin member, creates a little extra work but it works in keeping all the bots off the forum

Does anyone know how come we are getting SPAM members on a daily basis. I thought we had put some significant hoops in the way to stop this?
