Engine Mounts

I'm about to install some new front rear engine mounts in the Excel. In my past fwd experience with Toyota Corrollas we found the mounts to be some what consumable. The life was extended when the mount had bits of rubber "gorilla snoted" into the voids. I believe the gorilla snot was actually sikaflex but can't remember what grade(type) was used. Has anyone done this mod to engine mounts before and if so can they remember the type of Sikaflex used.
