CAPRICORN RESORT RALLY 17 JULY 2010 - Rnd 3 of the QLD Hyundai Max Attack Challenge

Hi all,

Don't forget that entries for the 2010 Capricorn Resort Rally close this Friday 9th July 2010. This rally being held 17th July 2010 and is round 3 of the Queensland Hyundai Max Attack Challenge (Round 1 is postponed until end of October, Kalpowar was round 2). Please help support the Central Queensland Motor Sporting Club by entering this event!

Whilst the entry fee may look a little high please note that it includes two tickets to Friday night's Meet and Greet and two tickets to Saturday night's Presentation Dinner - you'll get a good feed and won't have to buy food separately.


Series points are on offer and I've been told that Al is entering Hannibal the Horrible. The current (unverified) HMAC points standing (after Round 2) is as follows:

Ed Williams & Joe Brennand - 20 pts each
Allan Reinikka & Tamie McNulty - 17 pts each
Rob Dixon & Teresa Daniels - 5 pts each
Don't let Al be the only Excel entered... we don't want him to get away with top points without a fight! (no hard feelings Al!).

PS. the organisers of the International Rally of Queensland (IROQ) have acknowledged that this rally is really close to IROQ (31 Jul & 1 Aug). They have given their undertaking that they will refund IROQ entry fees if you are unable to compete at IROQ due to damage sustained in Rocky.

PPS. Once again, Jason is being slack and blaming his studies for not being able to enter...:headbang: ...I'd run but he won't lend me the car so close to IROQ..:(

I won't be able to make it up there (as soon as the missus found out we weren't entering she claimed the weekend back from me :(). Let me know if you need any assistance with any promotional stuff. I can print up colour posters (up to A3 size) at work and mail them up...

does anyone know what stage that was ? was it one near the resort ?

ive just come back from the Southern Mountains Rally in Eden (claiming the best rally roads in the country) and i would have to say the forestry roads down there were not as smooth as that stage in Als footage

SS3 was within the resort (so not forestry roads), SS4 was Byfield SF.
