Hi all found some regs at nswrally.com in the Bthurst link on the right.

Who's planning on going?

Hoping to but work is getting in the way at the moment with everything.

Looks like my 2 main events I wanted to do this year (Cowra 2 day and Rally Vic) are out. Bago and Bathurst possibly out, and Bay still a plausible chance.

Bathurst is a round for NSW Excel, NSW Clubman and ACT Series so I will be there - Trinity said that he is keen to sit in once again.

Now that I have added bump adjusters to my DMS suspension, it will be interesting to see how it goes with a softer bump setting all around rather than the "hard as a rock" setting that comes with the non-adjustable arrangement. I am slightly concerned that the spring rates now need to be boosted to reduce the chance of bottoming out. The car is not registered at the moment so I haven't taken it for a test run as yet.

Looking more and more like I should be able to make it as I get back from Victoria a few days before the event.

Don't know about getting car ready though........ Might be a few more temporary repairs to happen again.

25/09/2010 - so you will be back in time.

I have very cheap accommodation arranged (my sister's place is about 4km from the beginning of SS1) so can probably squeeze you and/or Lila in if you decide to come up. Let me know. You do still have my mobile number don't you?

Well, the difference between full hard and about 1/5 hard is like chalk and cheese. The car really dips under brakes now and the back hangs out all too easily in the corners. This is just too much to get used to between now and Saturday week. Consequently, my plan is to leave the backs as is (fairly soft) and set the fronts back to about 2/3 of max hardness and then play with it from there. As I said, I only have a week (this weekend really) to get this sorted.

Anyone wishing to share their DMS settings with me to speed up getting it closer to managable?

TIA,
Rick
