With Andrew not making the trip North for this event, it should tighten up the competition for the 2011 title as long as Jason and Al both make it through!

Al's all fired up having some unfinished business after last years event despite having recruited the Vomitron:sick: as navvie for the the event when Theresa was unavailable due to back troubles. The Van Alphabet team have arrived safely, and have refused to come into some pre-event banter by bypassing the beer fridge at my home a few hours ago:cheers:. I trust the comment of being on the road for 9 1/2 hours shall not reflect their effort tomorrow!

The dust should have settled. We had six millimetres of showers last night and it is supposed to clear out today. :clap:

I left about 2pm and both Excels were still battling although there had been at least 3 withdrawls by stage 2.

Commiserations on the breakage on the penultimate stage. You seemed to be pushing it a lot harder than Jason...it certainly looked that way as you passed us on a number occasions :lmao:.

It was a rough rally and Jason took it pretty easy. We would have been gutted if we'd travelled for 9-1/2 hours and end up with a DNF...

To the next round....
