Hi All,
Rally experience consists of watching a couple of stages of the Begonia Rally in Ballarat in Victoria in the early nineties.
I have had some bitumen sprint experience about 18 years ago and last year I (along with my nephews) joined the local club in Bendigo to give my nephews some driving experience.
So since then I and have been competing in motorkhanas, khanacrosses and autocrosses, firstly in a Nissan Silvia (CA18 non turbo) and now in a 1976 BMW 320 Auto!! Both cars are basically standard and on standard tyres but I am enjoying the dirt and trees rushing past and would like to take the next step. The Excel series seems to fit the bill so at least I can test my skills on a level playing field, (at least the cars anyway).
