Hi All,

Just witnessed the city of lithgow rally and was enquiring on how to get started in this series. have been interested in rally fo a while but with family and mortgage was looking at a cheaper entry level. this level looks great.

How do I looking at gaining entry into this category?

I have been in lithgow for the last 10 years and have said to my wife that there are some great tracks around here.

looks like a great site as well

cheers

Check out the other sections of the forum, but basically you need an excel X3 (cheap as chips, can even be hail damaged from the auctions and similar) then a rollcage, seats, harnesses, trip meter and intercom, plus some basic safety gear. The gear can quite often be found second hand (except harnesses) to save a few dollarsor make posts on the forum and people will look out in their various clubs.

You will need to join a car club (CAMS affiliated) and do a couple of khanacross events to get your licence. You can do these in your car for practice as you build it. But jump over to the other parts of the forum and start asking any questions you can think of.
