Hi All
I have just been told the dates for the 2012 Camp Crystal are the 31st of March, this is your chance to come out and give some very special kids and their families the time of their life.
For those that are not aware this a respite camp for children living with cancer as well as their families. The camp is at a private property outside Aratula and is run by Childhood Cancer Services as well as the RAAF and the Bush to Beach 4wd club.
We have had a contingent of rally teams at the camp for the last 4 years that have had an absolute blast. Although dedicated this group is small so please come and help, we need at least 14 cars and drivers as well as 10-12 helpers to strap the kids in the cars fit helmets etc, to make our part of the event a success.
This event has no entry fees and is not associated with any car club in particular, all cars must be registered. The earlier that I can get commitments the better, the organisers like to try and print badges and give shirts out to our crews but we need to give them notice of our numbers etc. And thanks to John Keen all drivers also received a medallion to say thanks for the support, I am sure John will be willing to help out again.
Kristan and Jen we would love you to come out and do some shots if your available.
Event planners please take us into consideration when doing your calendars and don't double book this weekend as we really need as many cars to help out as possible.
