Whats everyones view on brake lines.. braided vs solid?
I have seen some guys run braided throughout the car but i was wondering if this still doesnt have some effect on the pedal firmness?

Plus it would cost you a fortune. There are strict requirements on running brake lines through cars so make sure you follow them if you do it. But solid steel lines would be prefferred with only small sections of braided line at most. With the right tooling you should be able to do nearly without it. Otherwise just protect them under the car, which I will do soon :spank:

A fantastic source of profiled metal plating to cover pipes "free" comes for any motorcycle shop that sells new bikes, as the bikes come from Japan in crates the crates are made of profiled metal which is just the right shape to cover all the pipes under the car, the bonus is they also have welded 10mm threads so they can be bolted straight in without cutting.
