Does anyone know if degreaser is safe on electrical looms?

reason is i've made some changes and additions to my loom and before i retape it up I want to clean the std issue 10year sticky glue thats left from the orig insulation tape....

But im not sure if degreaser will eat into the wires?

Or can someone recommend a safer product to use that will remove sticky glue etc and not eat at the wires?

Cheers!

White spirit on a cloth does the job fairly easy.
Just think, if you really need to clean it? Time better spent on more serious things.

The best think is that you don't have to put vodka down. Unlike Beer and degreaser if you get confused and drink the degreaser it tastes like crap

You know why the introducing of ethanol-blended petrol is a huge problem in russia? Because even boys know how to separate spirit from the mix, drink it and sell the "clean" petrol after. :wiggle:
P.S. Bega drinks were not from petrol
