How hard is it to replace the front hubs and are they relatively cheap for the whole assembly? My left front has some play in it, and whats more worrying is the nut feels like its been done up with a rattle gun because i had difficulty loosening it with a powerbar.

The front hubs are pressed together- Bit of a pain really. We carry a complete hub, spindle, disc etc etc already assembled just bolt onto car.

By nut I guess your talking drive shaft nut. It really only keeps the drive shaft in the hub

Yeah the driveshaft nut, I was under the impression that it was only supposed to be nipped up as you cant put too much pressure on the tapered bearing?

I think the specified torque is something like 200-260 Nm
I know i nearly give myself a hernia torquing them up.

Snapon is ya man

probably, as my torque wrench only goes to 210Nm, but that OK because my strength maxes out at 200 anyway. I need to put a six foot length of spare chrome molly tube on the handle to get it any tighter.
That's a whole other story.:naughty:
