I think Glenn mentioned the other day, but I could not find the reference...

I need to get the inspection tag for the extinguishers. Who to call and how much they charge. Is it worth or do I just buy a pair of new ones and keep the old around the house (or organise the fire drill for kids :hyper: :))

After the cr@p Bogan and I went through at ROC this year, I would strongly suggest a visit to BigW and spend $29 ea on CAMS approved 1kg dry powder extinguishers. This is assuming that you are just looking the bare minimum reqs (and that is a whole new debate)

Super Cheap have a version with metal brackets and I bought 2 on sale a month ago for $50. After an experience about 6 years ago I vowed never to be dicked about again. I now have quite a few lying around the house. Occasionally I start a little bonfire and let the kids loose with an old one to put it out.

Go the new ones and keep the old ones for the kitchen and garage. Something that everyone should have anyway and makes scrutineering easier and only saves around $5- a bottle.
