Sorry for posting here, but i wasn't able to post in the qld section!wtf:

Greg, you'll need to alter your wording from entrant to competitor, and the regs contradict themselves about vehicle inspectors (in one place you say they're to be named, later you say they can be any S3 scrutineer), oh and by the way they're now bronze scrutineers!:slap:

I'm sorry I haven't proof read them really well, it's late! But these are the type of things that will get knocked by SC, and you only need to ask Gideon about how much trouble he had with his regs.:headbang:

Cheers Tanz.

Why's that? I believe the onus should be on the vehicle owner (the entrant, though usually the driver anyway), to proove vehicle eligibiliy, and then any subsequent crew automatically scores points. As you'll know with QLD there's always registeration paperwork and hassles with points. In NSW, (at least this year anyway), a few bucks from each event goes toward series registration, and so if you enter an event, you score points, which is how it should be. I just want to try and change some of the attitudes in rallying, and make it easier for people to compete in, and keep competiting in.

They're just my thoughts, and I'm more than happy to listen and take on board suggestions or thoughts! This is a 'people's series' and I'd like to keep it that way...

Ah, I'll look at that, as you can probably tell, I just ripped the Pocket Rocket regs, and changed the words... thanks mate!

So Tanz, you building an excel hey?! :grouphug:

For the QLD section (all state sections), only the moderators can post in the section for that state. We don't want the documents getting lost in the run of the mill discussions.
cheers

Sorry for the delayed reply! But it looks like your questions have been answered regarding my post anyway.:wiggle:

Yes, Greg I am considering building an Excel! and no, the Escort would not be sold/ pensioned off! The Excel would become a 2nd car that I'd probably pull out for series type events, whilst the Escort would remain as my No 1 piece of fun kit!:hyper:

cheers Tanz.

Just checked the calendar, great to see you've included the Rydges event, but it's a shame you haven't considered events outside the square there Greg!:( What about the NDSCC event or my own club's Kalpowar rally? 2 great events that would offer much better value for money for the competitors over some of the events you've chosen to include! Considering that you yourself have travelled further afield to chase quality events, it really does confuse me.

cheers Anthony.

Yeah I know what you're saying, and coming form someone who last year did lithgow instead of a local club event, may seem a little odd...

At the end of the day, keeping it inline with clubman, means that the cars are eligible for P2 in that (which they're capable of winning), and even end of year outright (which they would also be capable of. Also, with alot of the promotion work we've got planned next year, keeping it inline with the QRC also makes life a little easier, and in doing so, also means that people can further go onto to do the QRC distance...

Just remember that Urbenville is part of Clubman! ;) And with Rocky and Coffs also included, I don't think its too bad!

Pointscorer! Go for it! Would be appreciated! :hyper:

Also something we've thought of, is that if after a year or two, we get enough cars running, maybe have a rockie series (as per the current callender, ie. only blind rallies), and then maybe an advanced series, including the the three KCF's, and Rally Q, making it a 5 round pacenoted series... but nothing says I couldn't throw one or two of the other above mentioned events into the mix aswell...

For year one let's keep it (relatively) simple, and we'll go from there! ;)
