Hey Matt,
We'll be a force if you turn up at the right place
It's Bago which is about 450km north of Bargo!!!
I hope this isn't an omen

You "shire" dudes have no idea where anything is north of the Georges river:slap:

Last year I booked the car to have a few laps on Nurburgring. Little did I know about geography and german spelling. Nuremberg, Nurnburg, Nurnberg, Nurburg and Nuerburg (I have to skip german spellings for simplicity) refer to two cities somewhat 700 km apart. With me absolutely confident that track is at Nuremberg ten days before the big day.

Lesson learnt - always be prepared

I'm about 95% sure that I'll be coming up to official. I have Forster a fortnight before and some big-ish expenses on the car (for an Excel at least) which will mean Forster will probably be my last rally for the year.

Who's keeping a book? What odds can I get on Haggers? :)

This will be the first Excel Series event in NSW that I haven't competed at in almost 3 years since the Series started. It's certainly not a decision I've made lightly.....but I'll still be around to support everyone.

Right - I ran 6 kms soft sand today. Then I got on the piss and watched Casey Stoner become a world champ. That's my advanced training technique. My body will be a temple for the next week. But I will still be slow - or then again, I might benefit from hubris at the front.....

PS Casey and I were both born in Kurri Kurri. You are on notice.

I also met one of the guys from the Excel rally series there as he was chatting with Mark Taylor, Think he was gonna take him for some lessons? was a silver excel.

Hmmm, looks like the odds for Andrei may have shortened for Bago

It will be on for young and old,

Excel series is like a small village. Even a smallest personal secret gets known by everyone very soon

As you may already know (even if you don't believe it) Haggers and team Goat managed the unthinkable and won the round. The stage times were pretty close and made for a good competition but a few mechanical issues (think Dick Johnston sized rocks)brought Whitey and the Cullens to a stand still and Haggers just rolled on through. I'd like to congratulate Pete and Bek on a job well done. As the old saying goes "to finnish first, first you must finnish". See ya at Natcap.
