Peter and Allan do excellent work and have certainly helped make our Excel strong and reliable. With the Excel being the first car I have built and have had a welded in cage fitted to, the understanding and directional advise made everything very easy.
The work Peter did on the car includes the cage, seat mounts, front subframe/chassis reinforcement. bash plate and mounting brackets.
Just before Christmas he also did the cage in Glenn Brinkmans car-absolutley awsome. Haggers Excel is there now I believe.

I did a deal with Allan (due to being in the trade) and it was a lot cheaper then a 6 point bolt-in kit by about $300 to $400.

I rang bonds yesterday.... A 6 point bolt in kit is around $1100 supplyed.... For them to weld you one in would cost around $2500 to $3500 pending on what gets done... I didnt get a price on the weld in kits as i pretty much suck at welding and i wouldnt like to risk my life at the hands of my own shitty welding skills....
im just going to get a bolt in... i think its perfect for a novice like me :D

Peter and Allan are the Pavarotti and Domingo of cages. My cage is a work of art. THe welding quality is clearly top notch. I have been boring people at work with pics of the cage! One closet welder said "Mmmm, so that's how it's done". Having had some practical experience with all of Newton's laws at Port Macquarie a couple of years ago it was a no brainer to get Peter to do the cage.

Aren't you employed to make decisions on this basis?

Well with yet another fine example of workmanship by Bond Roll Bars the I30 is just about complete with roll cage of much goodness. There is soo much room in the I30 its like an Extracab behind my seat. Wayne will have some pics up soon.
Thanks again to Peter, Alan and Harv:clap: for the efforts over the last few weeks to get it done by Christmas. Not many blokes would let you into their business (workshop) or come in on a Sunday to get it done on time. Its an excellent cage and I'm very lucky to have it.
Harv as normal has really driven the project. Without Harv I really couldn't do this rally stuff. Thanks Mate!!!
