Had a call from Greg Moulden last night who let me know that Paul Batten won the Excels at the Akedemos. Sorry I don't know the other positions or who even nav'd for Paul but I'm sure we will have more info later today.

The Kangan Bateman Excel ran faultlessly all day. Well done to Paul, Greg and the TAFE students.

Cheers Mick

At the half way mark Paul, lead Emma ahead of John with Princess Fiona DNF with blown engine. I have some pictures from the first spectator point I will try to stick up.

At the spectator point, Paul came in smooth but got in a bit tight and nearly stopped before pulliing out of the corner. Emma took a wide entry in but managed to keep momentum going through the corner. John came in way hot throwing it sideways on a big slide but probably drifting a little wide (very agresive line) and Princess Fiona probably had the best mix of coming in quick and getting a nice slide through the corner.

Photos were only on my phone but came out alright except John was blurry due to me looking up and as I was thinking he was coming in very hot and hope he knows its slippery.

It was great to see Crazy Dave at the Akademos at the weekend. Hope you enjoyed yourself and that the feet were not too itchy.

Four cars entered, unfortunately the 260,000 km of Burson deliverys took it's toll in Fiona's car, aparently the oil and the engine are in different places.

Paul took the top points and also second 2 wheel drive behind Brian Semmen's Nissan 200SX. Paul had a stand in co-driver, Adam Wright as Craig is working night and day getting the Subaru back in one piece for the Rally Of Melbourne. Second again was Emma and Jo, with Ernie and Bronni third.

One round to go, the Geo Derrick is a go-er for the 8th December. Paul is 20 points clear of Emma on 100 , so needs to finish and score a point if Emma wins, otherwise they will be equal. Jo and Craig are both now tied on 80. Bring it on.
