Lets get the series up in Queensland.

Gidday all, just looking at the Excel series, do you think it will ever get started up here in Queensland?
Could some-one send me a set of the regulations?

Hi Filthy,
we hope we can get the series running in every state, however QLD has opted for a formula known as pocket rocket (www.pocketrocket.com (http://www.pocketrocket.com/)) which is basically any nearly standard FWD drive car under 2 Litres with extra weight as ballast, based on power to weight ratio.
Funnily enought the concept for the Excel series originated in Queensland which along with NSW had a very successful Gemini series. For some reason they have shyed away from a one make series.

I guess it will take a number of pocket rocket cars based on Excels to establish a series in QLD. Alternatively you could get some numbers together and lobby the QLD rally panel.

Gidday Whitey, like every-thing in Queensland we're behind the times.
Lets hope as some second hand cars become available the series might get started up here.

Filthy nothing stopping you or other Queenslander's getting some driving practice in the pocket rocket series, maybe you'll start a trend, that way the Excel brigade will eventually be able to be part of a combined states event. Have a look at the regs and compare them to the Excel Series, you'll have the advantage of not having to weigh you car down for the handicappers.
