Slightly different layout possible?

Hey ya'll...

Just had a thought, would it be possible to shrink all of the state series documentation into a sub-forum (even it that's then split up), to make room for State-specific discussion? I'd just like to throw up a post trying to get all qld parties together for a meeting, and there's no where really to put it?

There's alot of state specific stuff that needs discussing (event, promotions, advertising, meetings etc.) that at the moment doesn't really have a place to go...

Thoughts?

its not really news though? I just don't see the need to have each of the series documentation on the top level of the forum, when they could be compressed into one-sub forum.

Where do we discuss stuff like state specific events, promotions, meetings etc.? I haven't got a date planned, so I can't announce it as news as I'd like to see what suit everyone best.

Maybe we need to make the state series area something more like State Series Documentation and Discusion and just sticky the documentation at the top so that discusion flows beneath, then you have your state series area.

I'm pondering it....
I didn't want the regs for each state to get lost in a whole load of posts, but now the vehicle regs are National that is not so much of a problem.

I also didn't want to segregate the discussion into states as we are trying to promote the Excel family:grouphug:. comaraderie etc. BUT i can see that for Info re happenings in , say QLD, the QLD section would be the first place to look.

OK I've changed it but I'm not sure I like it.

Maybe a discussion regarding QLD get together or what ever should be part of Flat Chat forum.

I'm interested in feedback on the change.
We can always move the pists & change it again

I think it looks pretty good as people can instantly see if there are any new posts for there state. Good Job Whitey, and as you said the rules are National now. Anything important particular to a state can still go there and made sticky, such as if any state needs to register for their series or similar.
