NSW OPen Day RSVP

Hi all,
it only a few days until the NSW Open Day, we have had a pretty good response so far but we wanto to make the daY MUCH BIGGER than last year, so if you haven't RSVP'd yet you can by replying to this thread.

We will have at least 4 of the cars which competed in 2006 on hand for everyone to check out.

Hi Whitey - Unfortunately, Ethan and I will not be over to check out the open day.

However (without trying to hijack the thread), I would be most interested in how you hold these open days i.e what happens on the day etc for setting one up in SA.

Congatulations to all involved in putting the Open Day together, I thought it was great.

I was particularly heartened by the overwhelming spirit of co-operation amongst current and prospective members and your willingness to share your darkest technical secrets. This attitude is rare in any sport, and if you can retain this and your sense of humour you will have a very satisfying series. (With Haggers involved the sense of humour thing will take care of itself - red wine anyone?)

Glenn's presentation was very informative. From my point of view, I guess I knew what the setup costs for a car were but I was genuinely surprised at the low price of parts mentioned and especially the almost non-existant event costs. $25 fuel for an event? My STi was lucky to get 4km/l on transports!!!

Yeah i agree, id like to thank everyone who setup the day, it was very imformative, for an absoulte rally novice!!! Good to find out what needs to be done to the cars...

ill most likely be joining you guys out on the dirt at the end of this year fingers crossed... :)

Likewise - I was not able to make it, but would have loved to be there for the car prep/technical (Glen's?) discussions.

Would it be possible to get a short transcript/writeup of what was discussed?
