Hi Guys

As most are aware Hyundai do not have any more stock of the white wheels that most of us are running.

We are currently looking at a different wheel to help with the life of the wheels following some failures in 2006. Please also remember that the wheels are a normal road type alloy and not a compomotive or speedline. Performance had been doing some development on a special rally wheel with the CSIRO but they have taken on some other motorsport commitments that has put the rally wheel on the back burner.

I would like to get a idea of the number of people that would be interested in these wheels so I can commit to an order. Is the price OK?

Cheers Mick

The price is excellent. It is good enough that people in other cars have been asking me to get them some for their cars. I can't afford it yet but will look at some in the future, especially as my white ones are starting to crack.

Whtey will hate me saying this

I have 30 White Wheels in stock to suit Accent not Excel- When were we changing to Accent???

There has been a bit of a stuff up and Performance sent 30 wheels the week before Lithgow with the wrong PCD. 4x100-Accent. They also made some extra so there will be more then enough when we do the model carry on.

I believe they are sending the correct wheels this week

Guys,

The wheels look really good. I picked up a set of them from the first batch before we found out they were 4x100 and I was really disappointed that we couldn't use them at Lithgow. They're an 8-spoke design so they should avoid the cracking problems that the 5-spoke design had due to being a 4-stud pattern.

The price was $75+GST per wheel. I assume that is unchanged with the new batch.

Cheers

Looks like I've deleted the pics, but Mick has a flyer for the wheels (I believe) so he should be along in a minute... :)

I have just recieved 20 odd wheels from Performance. Glenn will be checking one tomorrow to ensure they fit as I'm off doing my annual dealer visits in south west NSW this week and the Excel is at Ryde Hyundai on holidays.
