Hi from Darwin

Hi Everyone,

I have been a member here for a while now and have been reading as much as I can, I love the site and I love the concept behind the series.

Sadly I live in Darwin and so far as I know they don't actually do any rallying here. Do any of you guys know if that is the case or not?

Is there anyone else from Darwin lurking here, who might be interested in starting a series?

I have just moved to Darwin, but I left my Excel back in Canberra (or Yass to be precise). To my knowledge there is no "CAMS" rallying in Darwin. I have heard rumours of non-CAMS rallies up here, but I don't actually know anymore about them.

Yeah I remeber hearing rumors about rallies years ago but nothing recent. It is such a shame as there are a lot of great places where a rally could be held (I think). If was was one of those people who actually came up with an idea and followed trough with it I might have tried to set up some kind of rally club.

Anyway I can only live in hope, or maybe I should move down south!

Try contacting Boris on bmsc as he lived there for awhile. I think he converted his car to track for awhile but he did speak of some of road stuff that was happening

There is an event starting in Alice Springs in September that you might want to make the journey down to have a look at.

OMG! I so want to do that!! I wish i had the funds (and a car)

Speaking to some of the guys racing at hidden valley on the weekend there is a Rally Association of Darwin (RAD), allthough I have not been able to find any more info out.
