Hey all. My name is Tim, i live in the country town of Cowra, but spend alot of time in Canberra.
I own a Hyundai Excel twin cam 1998. Only bought it a couple of months ago to down grade from the V6 (fuel is way to expensive). So far i have been happy with the car, drive good and uses little fuel and even has a fair bit of go for a standard 4cyl.

I was thinking of putting extractors and a 2inch exhaust on it. Any advise for small mods i can do to it (i am not the richest 18 year old in the world, and still need to keep it legal)

Thanks, Tim

You can get a bolt on 2 inch system (cat back)of Ebay for $250. Its a Redback brand. I got second hand Genie extractors from a wrecker for $42 so a wreckers maybe worth a go.

Does it do anything for top end? They rev pretty hard at 110 k's. I guess a 2inch - 2 1/4 inch would free it up a little and maybe lower revs??
