A few Saturdays (20th January) ago we held our NSW Open Day at Glenn Farrants workshop (thanks Glenn). In what can be described as an absolute scorcher of a day with temps souring to high 30's. The afternoon started with the Hyundai produced Excel rally videos. Followed by a short presentation on the 2007 series calendar, sponsors, competition conditions etc.
The highlight of the afternoon was the talk given by Glenn on all aspects of Excel car preparation. In due course the notes and suggestions will be made available in the Tech Talk form.
The afternoon concluded with a few more cold drinks and some one on one discussions.
Thanks to the current NSW Excel'rs- Glenn, Mick & Andrei for making their cars available and Crazy Dave for making the trip from Nowra to help out.
