Hi Guys & Gals,

We're ready & set to Go ! Block out September 14th for an awesome day out at Bacchus Marsh !

As per our previous post in relation to organizing a drive day, i'm glad to announce that it will be going ahead, and we'll be doing something just a little different this time !

We will be starting the day meeting at a yet to be confirmed venue for breakfast in Bacchus Marsh, then followed by a solid 4 hours of valuable track time for us all.

Track time will be from 12pm - 4pm and the format for the day will be a friendly competitive day, as we will be setting up technical 1.2km track and will be running a Rallydrive Excel Series "mini competition" which will be scored and timed for the day.

In the following week, we will put together a structured format, so that everyone will get the same amount of track time etc.

Up for grabs are 3 trophies, one in each of the following categories:

- Overall fastest driver of the day
- Best Improved time of the day
- Most entertaining driver of the day

We're contemplating having a special co-driver award, which will basically see the "driver" blind folded ( not in the car - too dangerous :potstir: ) and on foot have to run a course only listening to their co-drivers instructions - fastest time through the small course see's the award go to that co-driver for their excellent navigational skills. Your feedback on this one would be greatly appreciated as we really want to make the day as enjoyable and beneficial as possible for all !

If you could please RSVP me at julian@rallydrive.com.au by no later than Monday the 1st of September as we would like to have an official driver / navigator list which we will use on the day for scoring and timing purposes.

Look forward to seeing you all there !

Cheers,

Julian - on behalf of Pete & the Rallydrive Crew

I would just like to pass on my thanks to Peter and Julian from HPF RallyDrive for organising Sunday's practice day and for sacrificing your time, money and witches hats to allow us to get in some valuable practice time.

A special thanks to Peter for sitting out there all day braving the huge winds and sandblasting while trying to keep us in check.:hail:

I imagine John managed to get some decent photos of the day. It is a pity his camera didn't record sound because it is not often you get the chance to hear the driver and navigators swearing and screaming over the sound of screeching tyres and engines as they treat witches hats very Paw-ly :potstir:

Once again, many thanks
Tony

Great input at the meeting prior to all the fun , terrific to receive feedback on Excel Rally related issues.

You wouldn't want to be a cone :spank:

Just got my car back from Tim, said he had a brilliant day. Sorry I missed it but my bothers daughter is seriously ill in hospital at the moment so we needed to stay close to home. Tim tells me that it looks like his mate will also be building a Excel for next year what will that make the count Col?
