Warm conditions met the RaceBrakes Sydney Excel competitors at Bago 2009. The Bago event had moved from the regional centre of Port Macquarie to be headquartered in the small hamlet of Kendall. The 2009 Hyundai Victorian Excel Rally Series heads into their final round of the 2009 series at the Akademos Rally on the 17th and 18th of October.
